How much longer have we got to put up with Americans whining on about the cost of fuel?

They should try filling up their vechiles over here, then they'd really have something to complain about.Is it me or should they keep quiet?
listen yanks I'm fed up with hearing about this GROW UP AND SHUT UP.
You've got enough problems to be really worried with like what idiot's replacing Bush. You lot have no perspective on the outside world about this. Feeling much better now. going back to being grumpy rather than irate.
at last someone's noticed the Q and answered correctly well done.
Its the prices at the moment they are averaging 116ish per litre which as pointed out is close to $2.30 per litre, wouldn't mind if there was a fair comparison but there isn't.
 
All you have to do is turn off the telly when you begin to hear what you don't want to hear.

I think a better question is this: When will you Brits start complaining about the price gouging that the Oil Industry has been employing for so many years?

Okay, so that's a little snarly, but why would you spend your energy complaining about our complaints, when it could be better spent complaining about the actual problem?

Yeah, but your government allows more diesel cars to be sold, and more fuel-efficient cars to be developed. We're stuck in the stone ages here, getting crappy gas mileage, so technically we pay more than you for gas.
 
A wee bit over the top, LB!!! We ALL moan and complain about things so why should the Americans be any different? We Brits don't have the monopoly on complaining you know!
 
I totally agree. They whinge and whine about the slightest thing to do with fuel. The biggest users of the stuff on the planet, they expect to guzzle it by the barrel in their rather awful H U G E auto mobiles that do about 10 to the gallon. Strange, Top Gear the other year put a Vauxhall Nova up against a Dodge Charger (I think it was), guess what won? They need to take a serious reality check because oil is running out faster than they can invade countries that have it - haha.
