I have been trying to sell a high-end mountain bike for about a month now without any success. I am wondering if there are any bike enthusiasts out there, if they could tell me what they think the bike is worth. I am trying to sell it for around $2000, I am trying to sell a 2006 Specialized bighit FSR2 with upgrades, The bike is in good shape has a few scratches, it is also in good working condition. The Bike has not been ridden much. The Brakes, Cassette, and the rear derailer are all original. Brakes are Avid Juicy 5's, Shimano HG50, 9-speed, 11-34t, Rear Derailer is Sram x-9. All of the upgrades were bought in the beginning of 2007.

The upgrades
Wheelset: Mavic DeeMax's
Tires: Michilen DH32 AT 2.8
Crankset: RaceFace Evolve
Fork: Marzocchi 66 RC2
Rear Shock: Fox DHX5.0
Stem: RaceFace Evolve
Handlebars: RaceFace Evolve
Grips: RaceFace Lockon
Seat: Troy Lee Designs
Pedals: Crank Bro's 50/50

If anyone could help me i would appreciate it. It is getting to be very frustrating to sell.

$2000 is pretty high for that bike. I honestly think you'll have a difficult time selling it for more than $1000-$1200 but $1500 is pretty much the max. You might actually have better luck selling it out as parts. You could probably get $800-$1000 for the DeeMax's & the 66 alone if they're in good shape.

There just arent going to be many people out there looking for an old BigHit when the news ones are much nicer... they definately arent going to want to pay $2000 for one when the new BigHit III's are only $1700 or so, the BigHit I is only $2300-$2500 depending on where you can find it.
