How much is my 2002 Pontiac Grand Prix worth?

I know about all those other sites that tell you how much your car is worth. I'm looking to buy my first new car and was wondering what you guys think I could get for mine considering that there are a few slight modifications that may or may not increase the value. What would you pay for it is what im basically asking...the car is very clean without any cosmetic damage whatsoever

Actually, your slight modifications DECREASE the value.

If you had done any research onto how to maintain the value of a car, you would have found that out.

People want STOCK. Whether it's a classic car, or a new car, the majority of people want a car that has NOT been molested and personalized by the previous owner.

For example. Let's say I don't like the wheels you chose. You just lost me as a customer. If you had left them stock, I might still not have bought it, but at least I'd still be considering it.

Call Carmax, and they'll tell you the same thing. Each modification you have, subtracts from the value.

All that said, it's only worth what someone is willing to pay for it. Might be $2000. Might be more. But none of us are psychic, so we can't tell you what someone might think it's worth.

KBB and Nada will get suggested, but they're pointless. Those are book values, by someone not looking at your car. They have absolutely zero bearing on the person with the cash in their hands.
