My car constantly breaks down and just recently fell apart and will cost $1,200 to fix. I'm going to go with public transport now because I'm sick of the repairs, gas and insurance. I had to have it towed and the place gave me the $1200 estimate. I told them I don't want the car and they said they'd look at it again and call back tomorrow with an price range. It has, like I said, $1200 worth of repairs. 107K miles. A/C needs fixing too. What should I expect? I really just want to get rid of it. I know the Blue Book value is about $2995, I don't expect to get that, but I just want a few hundred bucks. Thoughts?
