i have my aunt's toyota paseo and unfortunately after having the car for 3 weeks someone hit it.
it is a 1992 toyota paseo with 145,000 miles on it.
no problems.
it has a sunroof as well and its silver.
i wanted to sell the car when the accident happened but the person that hit me had fraud insurance and he lived in the same town as me so the cops knew him and let it go.
So now they are saying for the 92 toyota paseo the damage is 1800 and they can only give me $800 back because of the $500 deductable.
i wanted to sell the car 6 months ago when this happened but had to wait for the non-insured motorist claim to take place.
i put an add on craigslist of 1250 with the damage.
the hood is dented and it needs a new light.
i had an overwhelming response.
i realized i wasted these people's time because i had to get the money from my insurance company first.
before my aunt gave me the car, she said she knew someone that wanted the car for $3000.
i dont believe her.
but with a 92 toyota paseo that has this dent and a broken light what can i get ?
was my offer of $1250 with the damage too low?
its really weird because when i go places ppl. approach me and ask if they could buy the car for like $800.
i told them i could get $1250 and they agreed to that.
i dont know why everyone wants this car like this.
is it like a really good car?
because my mom is trying to sell my sister's dodge stratus that is a 2004 with a V6 engine with 85,000 miles and can't get more then $3500 for it.
So how much is this little car worth?
im thinking people want to pimp this car out into a sports car.
i dont know but it is really reliable.
i just want a mercury cougar.
thats all.
thanks for reading! and for your responses.
I just wanted to know if I could get $1500-1600 with the damage. I know its only a little more then $1250 but I'm curious.
I probaly will sell it for just $1250 though.
But this car has been less problems then my 2002 Dodge Stratus was.
