Honestly, I believe a civic lx is worth around 16k.
I went to the dealership and they told me the best they can give me for an lx is 18k with everything included(tax, tag, title, etc..) Some thing tells me this price isn't right..
Is that a fair price for an 2009 civic lx?

That is actually a little cheaper than what I paid for an 08 a year ago. Mine was 18k without tax and title so that is a good price.

Don't forget, Honda's have incredible resale value. Especially when looking at a very new, but used Honda. It's going to be very close to the same price as a new one.

Go to KBB.com (kelly blue book) and see how much one would be worth by entering the info on the car. If it's not what you're willing to pay, negotiate.

2 door or 4 door? New or used?

If it's a new civic, than it's REALLY cheap for both 2 door and 4 door. I've seen 2007-2008 civics go in my area for 15-17k, just to give you an idea.

Hondas have really high resale value, so you need to take that into account when buying it. Also, there'sa high demand for them, so you're not really going to get that many discounts on them, no matter where you go.
