how much for a paint job for a 1998 pontiac sunfire?

Around $3,000 is the entry level for a real paint job that will actually increase the value of the car. Look for a shop that's going to do things like take off the door handles, door locks and mouldings. A place like Maaco will do it for under $200 but it will look like it was done with a spray can and done by a 17 year old. Any job from Maaco or any other cheap shop, even if you get their "good" paint job, will look terrible from closer than about 10 feet away and will actually decrease the value of your car.
 
how much would it costs to get a paint job for a pontiac sunfire? cheaply? while still getting the shiny look of it sealed and all that good stuff no bull where it looks like i spray painted it lol.
 
Bull crap you can get a job done for $500 bucks and would look sometimes better than those that claim to cost $3000. Pick up your phone book and call around. FOr a vehicle that old they wont charge you much, unless is a custom paint job. GOOD LUCK.......
