I am going on a diet now of 5 (fairly) small meals a day to lose weight, each of which contain at least 4oz of meat, and a serving of fruit/vegetable or higher. I am 17 years old 5'9 and 235lbs. My friend, who is helping me on this diet, says I should be taking at least 2 fish oil pills (1000mg each, containing 400mg epa and 200mg dha) with every meal at the minimum.
This means 10 pills daily minimum, and he suggests a maximum of 30 pills a day.
Is this healthy? What is the max I should be taking?
