I got told the other day by my assistant manager that the manager from og came in and gave him his card, told him if he was interested to stop on by...well my asst manager told him about me and how i'm a great cook. I work at a diner, I've been cooking short order for 7 months. I'm registered to start culinary school in january and before all this i was an asst. manager at a pizza shop for 3 years.
so, could i land the prep cook position or do i still need more experience..or if i was really eager and willing would they hire me? I'm not aiming for sous or exec or even the line..i'd be happy to come in as the prep bitch just to get the experience and ability to move up.
