I haven't used any more energy then usual but for some reason my electric bill went up from $50 a month to $115 a month. I was trying to cut back and was wondering how much electricity my flat screen uses up just being plugged in but turned off? Also, someone said it is better to wash clothes at night, is this true? I know this was having to do with something that these hours are usually cheaper.
