How much education does it take to become a Wall Street fat cat?

Like Michael Douglass in "The Game". He was an investment banker, right? Obviously you don't start out at that level. But for a guy fresh out of school with a FOUR year degree in finance or business, if I played my cards right, how far could I go , and what kind of money might I expect to make?
 
The Wall Street fat cat is an endangered species.

- failing financial companies
- massive finacial layoffs
- taxpayers angry about bailing them oput
- Obama and Congress looking to create executive pay caps
- lower future financial earnings due to higher interest rates
- higher future regulation
