How much does the win depend on the rider/bike for Motocross?

I would weigh 95% rider to 5% bike because most of those bikes act very similar correct? Because it always seems Reed and Stewart find their way back from the back of the pack. Would you agree?
Basically what I'm asking is that one manufacturer is not better who eventually wins, it is the rider?
 
i would have to agree with that one, cause at that level of riding where everyone is amazing at what they do it mostly falls on the rider, if they only raced the 5 main bikes honda kaw suzuki yamaha and ktm and stewart was winning everytime then yeah maybe its the bike but theres multipules of each out on the track. I think stewarts luck is going to change this year though. Dungey was lookin great i think he just got tired. Missed that shift in the 3rd to last corner.
