how much does the Toyota Dealership charge to just check the car?

My car has been making a weird noise for several weeks now and i want to take it into the dealership to get it checked out, so how much is it? do they still charge that if they do find something wrong with it?
 
Most of the time, the diagnosis is free IF you get the rapairs done at the dealer. If not, you can pay up to $100 just to get it checked out.

I would ask around for a good local mechanic and stay clear of the dealers.
