how much does it cost to get a blood test?

I had one done, and am yet to pay - because it is $140!!!! But don't worry, you can claim most of it back on medicare, the most you have to pay is around $80, and medicare can give you a cheque for the gap.
 
Not sure where is aus you guys are living, but im in Brissy. Went to the GP, told her i was pregnant, she gave me a referal for a blood test, its FREE. I have another blood test tomorrow b4 my 3 month scan, its FREE. It doesnt cost anything if your doctor refers you. Maybe if you just walk in and ask for one, but why would u do that.
