how much does it cost to buff the paint on a car?

how much does it cost to buff the paint on a car the paint on my car it still has the gloss but is going away slowly i take it to car washes and it shines when its wet with water but when dry its not shiny or glossy as much its glossy looking when you sit in the car but looking at the car outside its not glossy looking. the paint does not look like its fading but the gloss is going away i think. if i get it buffed will it shine again and how much to buff a car.
