How much does it cost (averagely) to tye dye 6 shirts?

My friend came up with the idea of us tye dyeing shirts to wear at the end of the school year, and itsounds really fun. She went out and bought the supples (including $1 shirts for 6). But then she told us we had to pay her back (each $5) for the kit and the dye and the shirts. That doesn't really sound.. fair? Because I don't think it costs 25-30 dollars for all the supplies. and we're each doing our own work (so our own effort). I love her so much, but she's always trying ot make money off of us in someway. >< (and dn't say that i'm being a bad friend because i',m asking this.)

So my question basically is: How much does it cost to dye 6 shirts?
(including the kit/dye and the shirts)
Does 25-30 dollars sound about right?
 
it would depend where the supplies and stuff was purchased, I mean, you could directly bring up the problem with your friend, and even ask to see receipts and such. It sounds about right to me, but it just depends. if you don't think it sounds right, then ask her. =)
