how much does an outdoor a/c unit cost?

i have no central air i have the set up just no actual central unit how much does it cost aprox.
 
That depends on the efficiency level you want and the area you need to cool. The more efficient use of power the higher the cost. It also has to match the size of the A-COIL you already have in the inside unit. A uint for 1800-2000 square feet in the mid efficiency range is roughly $2500.
