How much do you think my bodywork is worth?

I'm considering selling locally all of the street bodywork from my '99 Ducati 748 biposto (yellow), and I'm curious what you guys think the value might be.

I know if you were to purchase all of it new from Ducati, the total would be $4152.00 (!) not including decals and tail hardware.

The set includes upper fairing, front v-panel, mid fairings, lower fairings, complete biposto tail with rider and passenger seats, tail lights, turn signals (mounted in side vents) and the front fender. Its in good shape with the exception of a repaired crack and some scuffs on the right lower from a parking lot tipover and the usual minor blemishes of a used bike. Replace that one small lower panel and you'd have a nice looking set.

Any feedback would be appreciated.

Best bet is to hit up Ebay and search under Ducati 748 and take a gander. There's less and less 748's on the streets being crashed so demand might take awhile.

Hey P@rick,

Thanks for the reply. I couldn't find any complete sets of OEM bodywork on ebay, just the Chinese knockoffs, which I'm sure are driving down prices for OEM stuff. Most of the prices for individual OEM pieces being auctioned are pretty astronomical.

Just thought I'd put a feeler out to see what others thought.

Just out of curiosity I searched and I pieced together a complete OEM set in yellow for roughly $1500 incl a tank. No windscreen or mirrors though.

No worries. If they aren't taking up too much room, set em aside till spring maybe when business for bikes picks up for the season. Might fetch a few more dollars.
