How much do we spend on education?

If the money we spend on education was used to educate the children we could probably do with much less by eliminating all the unnecessary sports programs. Costs like football stadiums, new turf, new tracks, new baseball diamond, uniforms, equipment, transportation, coaches, all add millions of dollars to the cost of running schools. Go back to gym programs for all students and intramural programs for those interested. Then all students would get the needed physical activity instead of just a few who make the teams.
 
More than ever in history. It costs a lot of money to make generations so stupid they think voting Democrat is a good idea.

Who think we can spend our way out of a recession....
And who think that that the stimulus package actually worked?

every penny the libs can get their predatory taxing hands on, what's funny is just a few short years ago a man went to a one room school house ,without a computer, without electricity, without A/C and managed to get elected president, now we have one that went through our public school system, three colleges, including Harvard and has to have a teleprompter to complete a sentence, so I can see how they think we need to spend more money*********************
 
The country average is about $10k on every student in class, per year.

Trouble is, test scores keep going down.
