how much did you pay for your 08 ninja 250r kawasaki?

i know the MSRP for this bike is about $3500...how much is not too much? i live in CA .

From a dealer you are not going to get a big break on this low of a msrp bike. used it should be around $3000. Hope this helps.
Why not go get a Suzuki GS500 or Ninja 500 for the same price roughly, get a 06 for 3k prob. I sold my gs500 for 2.5K last year.
You will not like the 250 very long, it wont have enough power after the first month or so, LOL.
 
The Ninja250 has plenty enough power for any street rider. Stock I believe they can get up too speeds about 200+KM/H and that is far faster than any "Legal Riding Speed" and unless you pre-order the bike you won't get it for $3500 unless you are very lucky. The Ninja250 is the most popular/best selling production bike of all time so you are lucky to get on if you can. You might be able to get on off a person who "bought to re-sell" in a few months for a few extra grand. Maybe 6,7 thousand. And remember just because the bike has a bigger displacement doesn't necessarily say to mean it goes faster. It is obviously more power-full but it is significantly heavier witch takes away from the speed.
