lol I need to pickup the pace here. I just started a week or two ago and have only downloaded about 50GB. After using private trackers for so long I need to get it get it through my head that I can take whatever I want now.

So technically I am new to usenet/newsgroups but within a few minutes of finally giving it a shot I picked it up QUICK but anyways I started with the 3day trial for giganews(lasted about a couple of hours) but burned that 10gb rather quickly signed up for unlimited now im about 45 hours shy of hitting the 2week mark and as it stands Im at 229.02GB. So share your new comer stories! I love newsgroup I can't believe it took me so long to come around and give it a shot now I REFUSE to use torrents unless I absolutely have to and I looove FST awesome forum you guys are great!

New - About 2 weeks old. Signed up with Ngroups.net - Octoberfest (till Oct 31 promotion - $9.99/month - unlimited). I have already downloaded about 100gb. I think my usage will come down in the future as I settle down.

Well apparently too much for comcast since they shut off my internet.

I called them and they turned it back on but warned if i keep using excessive bandwidth I will be banned for a year!

Although its not all from newsgroups, I seed almost 24/7.

I stated using newsgroups about 3 days ago and am never going back to bittorrent, unless i can't find something on newsgroups. According to powerusenet.com, i've downloaded 116GB in 2.6 days. By this rate im gonna need a couple more hard drives.
