I currently have a 1971 Dodge Charger 383 automatic. It has 80-90K original miles on it. Still in good running cond. Some rust spots and some dullness in paint. What starting price should I list the car for?

It all depends which Charger model.

You could get the 383 (4bbl. right?) in the base Charger, Charger 500, Charger SE, and Charger Super Bee.

If it's the 2bbl. 383, it was available on all except the Super Bee.

Without seeing the car, among other things, it's hard to get an idea what it could be worth. Unless it's a Bee, you may not get too much for it. Guessing it's a 500 with the 383-2, it sounds like a $7,000 car.

there is a lot of "it depends"
I would say 2 years ago perhaps $10K, now perhaps $7K

about 10-15 thousand right now,the reason it will sell good is that its in running condition, most of those you find are basically basket cases, and need fully restored,i seen one go off e-bay and it brought 8 thousand and it didn't even run,but it was all there,id start out asking at least 14-15 for it and that gives you room to lower the price for a guaranteed sale on it,there's plenty of people looking for those right now so selling it wont be a problem, good luck with it.

if its in good condition it will sell for a lot but it depends on how bad the rust is. Just get a cheap paint job to make it look nicer and sell it for about 40-45K
