How might I be able to build and tone my muscles?

I'm 16 years old, in high school, and I'm about 5'6 and 135. I'm just curious if there's a good routine (or that anybody can suggest) I can following to build and tone my muscles. I can get into my school's weight rooms on Mondays and Wednesdays, and I can do bicep curls at home. I definitely do not need to lose any weight, but I would be willing to follow a diet that might help with building my muscles.
