which are more accurate?

how long should you wait to get a blood test?

how long should you wait to take a at home one?

thanks.

blood tests are more accurate, however, when I took my first one at a walk-in clinic they said it wasn't elevated enough to say I am pregnant. I had my doctor do one the next day and she said, "Yep, you're pregnant!" Well, obviously she was right, I am 36 1/2 weeks!

Most home pregnancy tests are just as accurate as the urine EPT tests in doctor's office. However, sometimes just to clear up any doubt, doctor will do blood EPT test if necessary. Sometimes blood test is slightly more accurate.

I'm Chris's wife and every home test I took was wrong 8 times! All the blood work I took was right 8 times!
I waited about 3 weeks after my period was due before the home test and when it came back negative I went for a blood test instead which came back positive..

Out of 37 women that I know that took the home test said it was wrong.

Blood tests are more accurate then at home pregnancy tests
However, at home ones can be very accurate
At home tests can take a matter of minutes, compared to days/weeks waiting for blood test results, although for an at home test you should wait until your expected period
I've taken a few at home ones, and I've never seemed to have a problem with them.

well in my personal experience I had a positive at home test and a positive blood test and that was it!

1) Blood test is most accurate
2) Blood tests are given by your doctor so they will determine that.
3) you need to wait till you a have a missed period before testing at home!
