How many with an art education major?

I feel like I'm the only out there (of course I know I'm not) but how often do you come across somebody who's majoring to be an art teacher.

I feel like people shrug this off and find it uninteresting or somewhat easy.

I'm also an art education major but I'm wondering if it would be hard for us to get jobs because I seen someone say that there are a lot of us and isn't very much in demand.
