stock car stereos are never enough reguardless of how nice and new it looks, for 3 reasons. 1, what alot of ppl dont know is that factory stereos actually turn down the bass as you turn the volume up after half volume. 2, max volume in factory stereos doesnt even compare to max volume of aftermarket stereos( chances are, your speakers are louder than your stereo will allow). 3, if you ever do decide to install a subwoofer (which i recommend) later on, you wont be able to with that stock stereo, especially because of reason #1, and because of compatibility issues. long story short, its worth it to buy an aftermarket stereo. their not that expensive, especially at pawn shops.
