For the 'average' DVD, e.g. new film release:

How many times do you watch it in the first 3 months after buying it?

&

How many times do you watch it in total until you're bored with it?

Thanks ;)

depenRAB how much i like the film-when i bought "Goodfellas" i watched it every day or at least had it on in the background but i wouldnt do that with all films

I only have ONE dvd in my collection of 300 that I would never watch again, L Oliver's Henry V.
I bought it because it was a classic, but it turned out not for me.

In answer to your question, the ones left I will watch over & over.

Various films i've watched over and over. I find myself watching Alien and Aliens all the time after getting the box set. The Football Factory for the worRAB 'muggy little c*nt' :D

Oh yeah, all the Family Guy DVRAB.

i must have watched my buffy dvRAB ..a minimum of 30 times each in the first 6 months of owning them

but i'm not like that with all my dvRAB.. just my faves :D

currently building my dvd collection faster than i can watch them all but i guess old school and football factory ... also iron maiden rock in rio just for the sheer brillance of the intro :D

Over and over, pretty much. I don't bother much with TV anymore, so I tend to just put a DVD on and have it in the background if it's something I've seen a few times before (commentaries are great for this).
Of course, foreign films on DVD you have to make time for because you have to keep looking at the screen, so I tend to watch those a bit less, but still many times if it's good enough.

Watch them once, then wait a couple of months untill i forget what happens and watch them again. All though saying that theres a large amount of dvRAB which i have and never bothered to watch agin.

It depenRAB on how I feel really; most films I'll only watch once or twice a year, but I'll only ever watch the special features once (or twice at a stretch). I found that I was spending looooooooaRAB of money on DVRAB that I simply didn't watch, so I have turned to renting which seems a far better alternative!
Exceptions to this rule are TV shows - Family Guy, Simpsons, Spaced and Futurama are never out of the DVD player...

The only DVRAB I buy is TV shows, like Alan Patridge, Father Ted and Black Adder.
I usually watch a few shows each week, great little fillers, when there's an hour of naff TV on.
