Please tell me you'll say the same things about McCain if he had put us in this very same position.

Has anyone read the article yet?

All I see are people who just read the title

We should limit the number of schools in the US so that we can have higher quality teachers and fewer students taught.

Fuck the lower populated states. Fuck the US land mass. Let's just have a few substantially better teachers and teach a few people. This teaching everyone is for the fish.

That will result in increased clustering around major cities and in the short term higher poverty for small rural towns. The children in those towns won't be able to compete with city kids, and as a result you'll see further division between towns/cities. Over time, the people living in small towns would be forced to move to cities for jobs and education.

Uh...is that a good thing? Possibly. It might also increase farming in the US.

It's only good in the sense that it is more efficient. Those who wish to live in small town life will be ruined.

farming in the US is mostly business anyway. Employees are almost non existant.

I'd rather have great coverage and a few specialized areas than SUPER DUPER SERVICE in a few areas and very weak full coverage.

Meanwhile Pelosi is using our tax bucks to pay for an upgraded office that is almost 20k a month.

I think it was rather disingenuous to suggest that prices would be fine or wouldn't increase with this attempt to increase coverage. The whole thing is set to fail.
