How many times can you refreeze cooked chicken?

I cooked some chicken wings, froze them once, defrosted and ate some, and now froze them a second time. Is it ok to defrost them and eat them again?

cooked, defrosted, cooked and ate half and defrosted the rest, safe to eat?

I hope you can decipher that. Basically, how many times can you refreeze cooked chicken?
