How many times a week should I sprint?

if your young then you should be doing more then 500 meters a day. Do a 800 meter jog to warm up, then do at least 5+ sprint/walk backs
 
I started sprinting as a basic cardio exercise a few months ago. I sprint about 100 yards, then walk back and do it five more times, adding one every week.

I've been doing this about three times a week. Can I do it more, or do my muscles need time to rebuild? What kind of exercising can I do in between sprint sessions? When should I do my home sessions of pilates?
