K Kenzie New member Dec 1, 2010 #1 I am making a knitted hat for my soon-to-be-newborn niece. Since I am kind of new to knitting, and she hasn't been born yet, I wasn't sure how large I should make the hat. I would like the hat to fit nicely, but still have some room for her to grow.
