How many poets does it take to screw in a light bulb?

Probably only one, that doesn't mean the light bulb will be screwed in however. Most will be left grasping for the one they think is hovering cleverly above their own head.

to watch the pretentious fools who praise him

glass balloon
that burns with
hindsight
casting shadows
upon these walls
of past mistakes
without form
but damning
all the same
