A lot of people say it has to be good at page one(Like, it‘s interesting, but nothings really happening), yet some of m favorite books took three pages to really kick of. What do you think?
i would say you have to read about the first 10 pages. otherwise you may get the wrong idea of what the story is about.
in twilight i think it took till around chapter 5-6 to get really interested in it. or atleast chapter 3.
it really depends on the book. and how long your attention span is
if i read a book and its not good by the 3rd chapter im probably going to just stop reading it.
