How many out there think toyota's quick fix shim is b.s.?

First the company denied the problem for years and now blaming the problem on an american made accelerator pedal system.Common sense would tell you if the gas pedal is sticking when you give your car gas then take your foot off the pedal the car would remain at that speed,.In most of the claims I've read their car accelerated even after taking their foot off the gas and some even had their car accelerate out of control while at a stopped position with their foot on the brake.In my opinion,toyota is covering up a bigger problem with their computer software that controls the acceleration of the car and trying to lay the blame on american made parts.I think it's kind of odd that the cars in their country are not affected by this but everywhere else is having recalls.Another thing the toyota co. said that doesn't make sense is that this pedal problem develops over time and wear and tear,but the problem still exists with some of the newer models also.I think after the recalls and all the law suits toyota will be lucky if they survive,I'm just glad that both my vehicles are american made.What do you think about this?
 
I think do to the fact japan is in some trouble they tried to rush production and screwed up big time

but they will recover and still be around top 10
 
If you consider the possibility of all the ACORN type people and others who work for Obama (the Czars), whom all dislike our country's way of life, you could understand the possibility of particular "American-hating" Americans being set up to make these automobile parts, and all in perfect timing for the new GM, (Government Motors), whom on all accounts could never compete well with Toyota. Now, remember ... the government is now also going after Honda! The two biggest threats to the government success of GM! This IS the Obama agenda, and while Obama is actually not in charge of the bigger plan, he knows exactly what it is, and will lead the blinded Hope & Change followers down the path with him! Revolution for the rest of us!
