How many of you put cooked or raw food into your dog's kibble?

I used to mix my 5 dogs food with canned dog food. Now on a Saturday or Sunday(days off) I cook a bag of rice or pasta and put a can of green beans, carrots, peas, etc. no corn rotating each) with a little garlic powder and low sodium chicken broth. A lot cheaper, better for my dogs and I can monitor what goes into it. Just a couple of tablespoons for the big guys and one for the smaller ones. And they are on holistic kibble. And they also get a couple of raw chicken wings or feet a week. Just curious if I am one of the few or do other people do this?
I did not mean that I mixed raw and kibble. I guess that my fault. I feed the raw a couple of times a week as a treat. And the garlic powder is so moderate that I don't see it doing any harm. I feed my dogs Taste of the Wild kibble. My dogs have never looked better in their lives or since I've had them (5 rescues). And cooking for your dog does not make you a slave. I bet you cook for your hubby or boyfriend, do where does that leave ya smartypants!!

I just started Wellness dog food. I occasionally put some cooked food in and mix it with the kibble but not all the time.Stuff like green beans, carrots, peas, cooked chicken...I usually blend it up with a tiny bit of plain yogurt(if I don't blend it they pick out all the good stuff) ...I don't do much raw (not sure why) unless its just a tiny treat from a cut of a steak.Sometimes I buy Bravo products which is a raw dog food company. Its just like sausages made with livers, gizzards, veggies. But they just get that as an individual snack.I don't do any whole raw meals though. I also give the occasional raw beef bone.

My grandpa does what u do.He mixes brown rice or oatmeal, tomato soup, green beans, cooked chicken and other stuff everyday...I don't think that means your a servant to your dogs or some kinda slave haha.So your not the only one that does that. NO garlic powder I had to tell my grandpa the same thing.I also didn't learn that until recently either. Better to be safe then sorry,im sure they wont miss it if you leave it out ha.

I never mix raw meat & kibble.

My Dobermanns are given raw meat in the morning & kibble in the evening.

They are also given large beef bones with chunks of meat on.

Do what you think is best but I make my own dog food it's super easy. A can of beans can of green beans two tubes of ground turkey. Not turkey sausage it's next to that tho. And a few raw eggs a spoon of ground garlic to keep the fleas away and I have three dogs healthy as can be. All play like puppys the oldest is twelve.

Feed them what they would eat if they were wild. Raw meat/veggys

I occasionally put cooked food into their kibble, if I have any scraps leftover from my own dinner that would be good for them (ie. steak, chicken, etc.).

Raw meat should NEVER be mixed with kibble.

Once i am done eating if the food is dog safe i will give my dogs my left overs. Dogs are not suppose to have garlic it messes with their nervous system i don't know if you knew that?
