Entirely Sure You Are Gay? I have a male companion who makes me happy, but I have had no great realisation that this is my sexuality - only a sense of peacefulness within my current situation.
Tiaan and PiKeRoNa. Sorry you did not understand my question. I interpret a gay lifestyle as being intimate with a person of the same sex - over and above what most people would regard as simple friendship. I tend to identify as bi., but this is based on my past and current behaviour, rather than any firm feeling that had an attraction to men from the outset, as I am not at all sure that I did - though I was possibly stifling those thoughts?
