How many of you feel you are not smart enough to be on any tracker?

Loads of different people have loads of different areas of expertise in many different topics/subjects from my experience of trackers... whether it be in programming, coding, different OS's, hardware, software, Bit Torrent, mIRC... the list could go on and on...

The important part imo is just to be honest about things if you don't understand something. There's nothing worse than trying to follow a topic that someone is chatting about when you have no idea what they mean... and it's not always the other persons fault as they might assume you're following them.

The only stupid question is the one that's never asked... although from reading some posts on FST there are apparently exceptions to this rule :lol:

Generally if I'm stuck on something I'll either check out the Support Forums, or go to the Tutorials Section, or even just plain Google and if all else fails then I'll just ask for help.

There's no need to feel intimidated or anything else by what you may feel is an apparent lack of knowledge, the 'experts' didn't become experts overnight :)

I don't see you're point.Are you suggesting that a person should present a different front different places to satisfy what they think is expected of them?
Part of the problem with certain trackers imo is the uniformity of vision and not the individuality.
 
OlegL, you are just fine. Don't let the assholes get to you. You and I went through a period when I was, well, less than nice to you. :blush: However, you stopped the negative behavior that I disliked and now we are friends.

There are 11,500 active members (as of a couple days ago) on FST. That's a lot of potential nice people, idiots, average people, assholes, etc. You can't worry about all of them. Find people with similar interests, those who can and are willing to help, and even people who want to get information from you.

Share what you know. It's OK to be wrong. It is also OK to defend yourself. Life will teach you when to do each of these.

A lot of HDBits staff and members act like children. That's a known fact by most in the bt community. So I wouldn't take seriously anything that anyone at that tracker says either. As for Bit-HDTV, that kind of surprises me. But then again, there are assholes at every tracker.

Again, why you would actually care what some stranger behind a computer screen thinks or says about you is beyond me. Do you get all suicidal when people in real life call you names? You need to get some self-esteem, OlegL. Or at the very least thicker skin. You need to learn how to let things just roll off your back. You seem like a good person, so it pains me when I think that you're all huddled in the corner of your room at night with tears coming down your face because some jack-off on the internet told you to go back to Mininova.

But, IdolEyes787, even here someone told me, "Go back to Mininova where you belong." It was lukee who said that. Obviously, he thinks I am smart enough for public trackers, but not smart enough for private trackers.

Some tracker or maybe some forum have many elite member and u need to know many things about p2p, torrenting or even about other tracker.
