Being part of private trackers doesn't have a thing to do with how smart you are I've seen plenty dumb users here on this forum on "high lvl" trackers that got in one way or another......
 
I am, I'm 1337.

Start with a tracker you know a lot about. eg. Movie tracker, Gaming tracker etc and move up to general from there.

There are heaps of noobs on IPT/TL, it makes you wonder where they even found invites to it.
 
Okay, for example, I am a member of bit-hdtv and people look down on me there. I knew less and still know less than they do. I didn't really understand how a seedbox works and that's why people at bit-hdtv called me a retard. Then I rented a seedbox for the first time, but I still probably know less about a seedbox/server than they do. The same story happened to me at hdbits: one of hdbits admins said this about me, "I am surprised he was invited to hdbits." He said it when it was only my third day of membership there. Also, another hdbits admin called my FST posts "retarded".
And that's why I feel I know less or a lot less than any other average user of private trackers.

But some would disagree with you. For example, I was once told by a member of a private site, "Go back to mininova where you belong." At least one staffer from a private site called me a retard a few times (not in a joking way) and at least two VIP members called me a retard many times (also, not in a joking way). And that's why I am asking you if some of you feel some people are not smart enough to be members of any private tracker?

There are 11,500 active members (as of a couple days ago) on FST. That's a lot of potential nice people, idiots, average people, assholes, etc. You can't worry about all of them. Find people with similar interests, those who can and are willing to help, and even people who want to get information from you.

Share what you know. It's OK to be wrong. It is also OK to defend yourself. Life will teach you when to do each of these.

Well, i could point a couple off, guys, who would fill that category, but know that anon and cabalo are best friends, i better not say anything, they have axxx to the mighty TTC, and tho the closed " supreme trading forum off fst" theyre very powerfull

That definitely sounds a bit harsh... especially if you were being genuine and don't have a history of messing around or acting like an idiot...

I guess some people just don't have any patience...
