How many mpg does a 2003 yamaha r6 get?

My boyfriend and I are considering getting one as a commuter bike (we found one we really like) he drives approx 140miles per day. Would this bike be a good commuter... Or is there a better bike (rice rocket style) that would be like the ultimate commuter bike
 
If you are really easy on the gears,then the mileage won't be so bad.You could expect 45-50 on the highway.Pull the r's up a little and it will drop right down to the low 30's.I could think of better commuters but what the hay-if you both like the bike then have a go at it.70 miles at a stretch ain't so bad.
