how many miles should a 90-94 chevy lumina have until its junk ?

Chevy builds a good car. Try and stay away from 3.1 engines. Unless the intake gasket has been replaced past100K miles. Other wise there is no other problems that I can think of. My 84 Cavalier is still on the road.
 
The age of engine depends mainly on the driving conditions /mainly Acceleration and the Temperature of the engine and on the Maintenance of the engine mainly Oil and Filters replacement and finally on the fuel type, but if you ask on the average miles age the answer is 250K-350K, chevrolet has made good age engines especially in this mid period of 90s.
