How many miles on average should a Chevy Cobalt Coupe go?

I want to buy a car that's gonna last me a long time. And the Chevy Cobalt is a good option for me, so I'm wondering how many miles it could get in total if it's maintained monthly (oil changes, and all that other stuff to)? And if anyone has any suggestions as to which car I should get for my first car, I'm open to it. I'm looking for a fast car, that's dependable and gonna last me long, and it has to be peppy to smoke people at red lights. And it has to be under 10k. Thanks ; )
 
if you take care of a car and provide regular maintenance it should last you longer than you really want to keep it. I have a 02 Ford Focus with 130,000 miles on it and it has given me no problems outside of regular maintenance. If you want a really really good car, look at Subaru. We have had many in my family and they last forever.
