that question is an open-ended question if one uses the car for long hauls and no city stop and go traffic then I would say 5000miles each change on a high end oil and filter and about 4000miles on a low- end filter and oil if just city driving no more than 3000 miles is safe anything over will void any warranty. It also depends on the total mileage on the car if it has high mileage like over 80,000 then keep the oil fresh every 3000 no more than 3500 if the car has over 100,000 miles use a high mileage oil like Quakerstate. also consult a technician in your area for a good maintenance schedule the manufactures schedule is the best guideline to fallow but it also depends on your driving habits.
