How many miles can an average honda civic go?

I'm looking for a civic and I found one with 102xxx miles on it. What's the average life span for a honda? I heard they last hella long and I just wanted to make sure. As far as I know it was very well kept and not abused. It's an 04.

With scheduled maintenance, 300,000 miles is not unheard of for a Honda Civic. With the right price, this is a good deal.

Don't know how long they last. BUT I drive a 1997 honda civic and it has a little over 240k miles on it. I take pretty good care of it. And only now its starting to bog down a bit. But thats because I haven't been taking a good care of it lately. I'd probably can get another 150k miles before it dies on me. Any car will last a pretty long time if you take care of it.

Cars DON'T HAVE an expiration date, or max amount of mileage.

People ask this crap all the time, and don't bother to think about it.

It's a machine. That's all. Maintain it, repair it, it will last indefinitely. Just like a house, or anything else that requires upkeep.

If it fails, it's because the owner failed the car, not the other way around.
