I have a filter, heater, etc. The tank is cycled and i currently have 4 kois in the 10 gallon tank. how many more can i buy for them to be happy?

NONE!!! Koi get to be 2 + feet long. They need 180 gallons of water per fish is kept in an aquarium, but they should be kept in a pond.

Koi are really meant for a large fish pond, not even one will grow to full size in a ten gallon tank, but you can keep them there for maybe a couple of months, even longer and you risk stunting them, while, maybe preparing to make an outdoor pond or a bigger aquarium(a lot bigger). Don't want to discourage you but it's for the fish' health. Good luck!

Zero. Get a bigger tank (75+ gallon), get a pond outside, or get rid of them. Koi can easily get two feet long (FYI, that's longer than your ten gallon tank).

non omg they get soooo big
i know they look good but they will be so messy you will get tird of cleaning that tank so much i suggest getting some live beareres

none those kois will grow over a foot long you need a bigger tank like a 55 gallon tank then you can add 1 more.i no that in pet stores they might have like ten of em but they don't care.and you should care so you cant get any more sorry.

NONE kois get big dude they will get bigger and out grow that tank pretty quick
and if u must keep themin there then do frequent water changes
