How many iPhone3Gs did your store have?

Apple store always has way way more then ATT stores. It was this way with iPhone 1.0 as well. There was at least 150-200 people in front of me at the UTC San Diego Apple store, 4 1/2 hours later I walked out with a black 8 GB iPhone 3G. Still had tons left in stock.
 
my local store had 100. my friend manages the store.I slept comfortably till around 10 am. They sold out within the hour I believe. I was told they are getting more tonight. I have work tomorrow, but have one set aside for me
 
i just drove by the walnut creek apple store in The east bay northern california and there is still a huge line out side at least 200 people. and its 8:30pm... they are staying open till 11:00 and they don't expect to sell out.
 
apple isn't like nintendo or anything, if theres a demand it will be met within a week or two, they tend to do a good job keeping shit in stock
 
The AT&T store I went to today to get my iphone (which I got at an apple store) straightened out got 40 yesterday and they didn't know when they'd be getting more.
 
most AT&T stores around me were sold out within the first hour of opening.

Apple stores (I have about 5 near me) didn't seem to run out all day, only that there was a line to get one from open to close of business. Wait times averaged 4 hours or more

(some people that were standing in line were sent home with a voucher to be in the front of the line the next morning)

I just went the following saturday. Showed up an hour before open and there were only 10 people in line. They were already activating a small group of people that were sent home the night prior. Once the store opened at 9am. I was in and out with a white 16gb in less than an hour. When I walked out (almost 10am) the line had grown to several hundred people.
