How many iPhone3Gs did your store have?

Yea, im interested in this. Heard there were about 20 people camping out at ours. We dont even live in a 3G area, and its a relatively small town. Sucks for all those that are camping out that still didnt get one!
 
Friend at ATT said they were expecting to sell out EVERYWHERE today within 30-45 minutes of 8am

That's bullshit. I know for a fact the Apple Stores have hundreds in stock. They still have some in stock as we speak.

If the Apple Store only had 80, there would be over 900 pissed off people outside the store by my house and I think all hell would break loose.
 
the second att store i went to had about 15,5 were 16 gig.. i could've gotten a 8gig but fuck that..im not sure if i want to head out to the apple store
 
AVERAGE you dipshit - some stores got more than others.

I went to my local Apple Store had only 250, and when I got there at 8:30 there were still over 300 people in line.
 
So you're saying your Apple store had 250, the two Apple stores by me had 500+, the 5th Avenue store had well over 1000, yet the average comes out to 80. Yeah, that make perfect sense.

I guess the other stores had 5 or 6
 
O'fallon, MO at&t corp store had 20. 10 8 gig, 5 white 16 gig, 5 black 16 gig. About 80 people in line when they opened, about 60 disappointed people 5 minutes later.
 
ATT stores by me sold out in 60 minutes. Apple store had some left buy the guy said no chance of getting a 16bg, 8gn if I was lucky. I ll just go tomorrow morning, i dint really care.
 
There have been MANY reports that each AT&T store recieved between 10-30 units depending on demographics of the store.

It is also widely accepted as fact that Apple stores had/have up to 1k units per store.

Apple press releases have indicated that they anticipate having sufficient stock to last through the weekend.

In spite of all this, I showed up at my local Apple store at 4am this morning and purchased my 16GB White 3G. Loving it thus far, now that it's actually activated.
 
is the upgrade thing only for first day buyers, or whenver I want to get a new iphone? and do I have to give them my old iphone or can I just sell it?
