How many hours of exercise do I need every week to be healthy?

I just started going to the gym 4 days a week, around 1 or 1 1/2 hours every time I go. I am 19 years old, I am 5'5 and I weight 120 lbs. High cholesterol runs in my family and my total cholesterol is 220 (which is high I know) and my triglycerides are 50. So I have been trying to work out and i wanted to see if 4-6 hours of exercise a week is enough for me to be healthy?

I power walk on the treadmill (I maintain a 3.5 speed and put the incline up to 9.0), I lift light weights (5-10 pounds), I do the elliptical machine, and go on the bicycle.
