thinking about getting a betta fish
have a tank but idk if its the right size like gallons or whatever
tell me whats the recommended size thanks!

2.5 gallons-150 gallons+

Anything big enough to be heated. No tiny torture tanks.

Depends if you are going to house just a lone Betta then the smallest I would go is 2 gallon tank heated and filtered. If you plan on tank mates (only compatible tank mates) then I wouldn't go any smaller than a 5 gallon or larger. All of my bettas are housed in 10 gallon tanks some have neon tetras as tankmates or cory cats, and apple snails.

Don't listen to people who say Bettas can't have tankmates because they can
