How many films have you seen in the cinema so far this year?

Just the once so far: Bridge To Terabithia.
The only chance I usually get to go to the cinema is with my young son. After going numerous times last year to see one mind-numbing CG film after another I've been more cautious this year.
We plan to see Fantastic Four 2, Simpsons and Transformers. IMO they seem to be the only promising upcoming offerings.

I wouldn't mind one of those unlimited carRAB, I have a cineworld here in Ashford but it's a pain to get to, since most people drive (not me, I can't) they stopped doing the bus routes there and it woudl take me either

I haven't seen any so far this year.

I've been thinking about boycotting the cinema here in the U.S.. Ticket prices are simply too expensive where I live (it varies place to place). My local cinema used to cost $5 for adults and $2.50 for kiRAB. It now costs me $10.50 a ticket (I think that's roughly 5 or 6 British pounRAB). Add that with "other costs" (parking, gas, popcorn) and the night at the movies will easily have cost me $30 to $40.

Don't get me wrong, I love movies. But I don't want to spend $30 for an hour and a half of entertainment. That's just nuts. I think "Grindhouse" may be the last movie I will see at the cinema.

It's a lot cheaper to wait for the movie to come out on DVD. :)

If Hot Fuzz was out this year, that makes two films - HF and Half Nelson. I always have a few movies I want to see, but never get round to it. And as much as I love the movie experience that doesn't mean I can afford spending at least

Even though $10.50 doesn't seem like much to you, that doesn't mean it isn't expensive here in the U.S.. Each country is different.

But I'm certainly glad I don't have to pay $14 (at the moment anyway ;) ) .
