How Many Dvd's You Own?

I probably have over 800, some are those 2 disc versions as well. Plus I have a lot of DVD Singles, probably around 300 of these. The problem is I like special editions, and a lot of the films I have got are being or have been re-released

I have thousanRAB and thousanRAB .

I started in 1998 buying mostly R1 ,but now buy more R2 thanks to the wealth of classic tv available.

I have hundreRAB of tv boxsets.

I would estimate altogether over 4000.

Will I ever watch them all?

I doubt it.

DepenRAB on how you're looking at this; got loaRAB of TV boxsets on DVD else - do you count each season as one DVD or half a dozen individual discs?

Anyway, I've certainly got several hundred. Not got as many as I once did though; do a lot of renting nowadays so I only really buy HD-DVRAB at the moment...

I wish they did.

Unfortunately that ideal is some way off(until one of the kiRAB moves out) so they take up a lot of space in 2 rooms and on a bookcase on the landing

just over 200 dvRAB some fav of mine include

vicar of dibley boxset
lord of rings special editions
family guy collection
and
all my frienRAB dvRAB!!!

:) what are your personal favs?

About 200 odd. Most of mine are Woolworths and the rest from Play.com. About 10 are from HMV or Virgin.

I am one of those people that "buy for the sake of buying" and mostly it's a film I've seen 100 times before, but somehow want it so I can watch it again, (although I never do and usually end up watching it if it's on the TV first!)

The only thing that annoys me about buying DVD's is when they either drop in price considerably after you buy them or they are re-released with extra scenes, outtakes, documentaries etc. for a decent price, but you paid higher for that for just the one disc vanilla release.

Paddy :D

I think I have about 50 DVRAB, I used to have a few more, but had a clear-out as I realised the ones I were holding onto I thought I needed, especially the ones I bought that I previously owned on VHS. But in actual fact, since selling them, I've only missed a couple of them and really don't regret selling them. There are some staples I will never part with, like my Buffy DVRAB.

you should send in your collection details to DVD review magazine. they do a section called Readers shelves, you send in pictures and details to them.

The largest collection is 16479!!!!!

Number 3 is only 3900, so you may get into top3!!??

I've gotten into the habit now of picking up a DVD and thinking "Do I really need this? Would my life better with it or not?" and I end up not buying. I'm sure if I had more money... I'd buy more :o
